Made from top grain leather. Chemicals will weaken the leather over time. Be patient. Its ruggedness will grow in character with you. Don't be afraid of a scuff. Lick your finger. Rub it in. The oils from your skin shape the patina's look over time. So go ahead. Handle it! Avoid leaving leather for extended periods of time in direct sunlight or extreme heat. Tolerates a leather cleaner or conditioner very well.
The leather log book is genuine leather, which handles water well but not for prolonged periods. The paper is archival quality, it will resist moisture and will not bleed but also will not survive prolonged exposure to water.

There was an initial issue with the product being damaged in transit, and they did a great job of making sure I got a new replacement in time for the holidays!
I would like to be able to enter my own journey goals on the pages and wonder if you have blank page journals with the exact page format. Could this be something if not you’d consider offering to customers. Overall the pages and leather bound cover is wonderful!! I look forward to ordering more supplies provided there’s an option for blank pages and a year journal may be a better option for me and if there are at least two page entry options.
The binding is super loose on this . I almost thought it was a DIY journal kit someone stitched that was inexperienced. The leather is the same as my other journal from rustico but the binding is totally different. Super bummed out. It’s like this floppy book :(
